A/W '13 SHOE TRENDS

A new season not only means a change in weather but it's exciting for everyone in the fashion world to experience the new trends for the season ahead. Clothes can make a big statement and show off a person's style and personality, but a good ol' pair of shoes can also show that too - what do they say after all 'you can tell a lot about a person by looking at their shoes'. As if we needed another excuse to shop for new shoes and this season is all about a statement shoe..

'THE BOY SHOE'

Topshop never fail on any up and coming trend, this time ticking the box for what has been called 'the mannish trend' which is set to be big this fall and this is the new take on the classic brogue.Think tailored suits and oversized coats. If you don't want to go full hog on this trend, we're thinking of paring these with a pretty feminine t-shirt style dress.

'THE STYLISH TRAINER'

Animal prints specifically leopard and snake print are big news for a/w forming part of the clashing prints trend. Get ahead of the trend and team now with black leather shorts and a clashing brightly coloured printed jumper for a chic daytime look.

'CLASHING PRINTS'

No matter what season, ballet shoes never leave any trend. With a slight twist -the added heel, these shoes will add instant update to a plain outfit.

'THE CUT-OUT'

The cut-out trend is still continuing to be big news for a/w. New look are onto a winner with these tan leather booties. Like black, tan also goes with any outfit.

'90'S GRUNGE'

A boot with a thick heavy duty sole is paying homage to the 90's punk/grunge trend which is making it's way into this season. With a suede upper and buckles, they really are a masculine shoe, but paired with a girly bright printed cut-out dress, these will turn heads.

Our favourites are the Topshop brogue style shoes and the Kurt Geiger heavy duty sole boots. Can we have them now please?
