HOT TRENDS SPRING/SUMMER 2012

Pastels
Probably the most dominant trend for Spring/Summer 2012 is sugar pastels. They have been all over the catwalk from pale blues to pinks to yellows to lilacs, pastels are so pretty and feminine. You simply can’t beat a floaty pastel summer dress! We love this goregous Christian Dior creation seen on the Paris Fashion Week catwalk!

Pink
Hot pink is the ‘It’ colour of the season, seen across different collections it is eye-catching and oozes sex appeal. This Moschino dress is absolutely incredible!

Head-to-toe Prints

All-over Print is another trend to watch out for. It is not exactly a subtle trend, and even though it may not translate well on the average British woman, it is still set to be a huge trend.

Sultry
Sexy, sultry, dark colours also dominated the catwalk in the recent Fashion Weeks. Flowing black dresses stole the show at Victor and Rolf's Winter 2012 Show. This trend makes a great alternative to the pastel trend.

Statement Jackets
Statement jackets always seem to come around, they are always in fashion, however this season the striking-factor of the jackets seen on the catwalk seems to have hit an all-time high!

Finally short suits have become a recurring trend this season, they are easy to wear and so chic and stylish!

Lily Donaldson looks incredible in this white short suit!
